Charitable Radio have partnered with MenTalkHealth to offer you the chance to WIN a place on a Mental Health First Aid Awareness Course!

Mental health issues can also affect anyone, at any time. As with physical first aid, there are simple skills you can learn in order to step in and help. Better still, with mental health there are often early warning signs. When we know how to spot these – and how to challenge the stigma that stops people from seeking support – we can act to prevent mental health difficulties from emerging in the first place.

By becoming an accredited Mental Health First Aider, you can make sure you’re ready to respond and really ‘be there’ when someone in your life experiences mental health issues. Learn more about the Mental Health First Aid Awareness Course.

How to Enter:

To enter this competition, listeners will need to submit a song of their choosing that connects them to their mental health journey.

Entries can be submitted by completing the online entry form, or by sharing your song using the hashtag #MTHMusicMoment on social media. Please tag Charitable Radio in your posts!

First Prize

• Mental Health First Aid Awareness Course. (Accredited by Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA))
• The prize is worth £300
• We will agree a date with the winner, and this must be completed within 12 months of announcing the winner
• The course is 4 sessions usually over two days
• Accreditation expires after 2 years
• The training will be completed online/virtually

• Entries must be submitted by 5pm Thursday 9^th June 2022, any entries after this date will not be counted
• The winners will be announced on Monday 13^th June 2022 after 9pm on our show Monday Music Therapy, on Charitable Radio
• Any entries submitted using the online form must include a contact email. (Your email will not be used for any other purpose than to confirm receipt and notify if you have won)
• Any entries using the wrong hashtag or form will be void and not used
• Prize winners will be selected at random using an online prize generator (this will be independently verified)
