Here’s why you should run with #TeamLivability

We are a UK charity supporting 1,200 children, young people and adults each day living with physical and intellectual disabilities across our network of high-quality specialist schools, care homes, community services, a brain injury rehabilitation centre and 350-acre Wellbeing Discovery Centre.

All our services are shaped around the diverse needs of the people we support to enable them to live a life that adds up for them.

Your support could be life-changing for people with disabilities

We aim to provide assistive technology for all people we support; to increase independence enabling them to video call loved ones, listen to music, attend virtual GP visits, access online education, or simply communicate with another person.

How tech has reduced isolation for Rachel

Rachel lives at one of Livability’s care homes. She uses Eye-gaze technology to operate her computer with eye movement.

‘It’s massively important to me,’ she spells out on her screen. ‘My favourite thing to use is Facebook to keep in touch with family and friends. I get frustrated with it at times but it stops me feeling isolated because I can talk to people outside of care.’

Join #TeamLivability today, and get your 2022 plans underway!
