“Hi, my name is Jane, and I am excited to be joining the Charitable Radio family. I have worked in the Further Education sector since 2004. I have been delivering the Prince’s Trust Team programme at London South East Colleges since 2014, which is a personal development programme for young people who are struggling for whatever reason with mainstream education and finding employment. A huge part of the programme is for the young people to develop projects within our local community to help and support those in need, which in turn helps to boost the skills and confidence of our learners.

My experience so far within the music industry has been volunteering for 10 years with a local band, The Dualers, as part of their management team, booking gigs and festivals, managing merchandise, and accompanying the band to events.

My hobbies are quite varied, I love to sew and craft and have a little Etsy business to sell my unique creations, and when the weather is suitable, I adore camping. It is my safe place and my release from the pressures of life; my tent, good friends, a campfire, and the stars filling the sky. I am also currently undertaking some online courses in Forest Schooling, Foraging and Hedgewitchery, to keep my mind occupied and fresh!

I live with my two grown-up children and our cat Doris.”
